With Scheidel moving into a director role, Peter Murton will appointed as CEO of HAECO Hong Kong; Todd Navin, CFO of HAECO Americas, will succeed Collins as President effective January 2025.
HAECO Group has declared several key leadership transitions within the organization, effective from September 1, 2024. Peter Murton will succeed Scheidel as the Chief Executive Officer of HAECO Hong Kong, bringing a wealth of experience in airframe services to the role. He will be joined by Derek Hui, who will step into the position of Executive General Manager of Operations.
In this capacity, Hui will oversee base and line maintenance services in Hong Kong. Both Murton and Hui have extensive backgrounds in HAECO Hong Kong’s operations, and their expertise will be instrumental as they take on their new responsibilities.
As Ms. Jacqueline Jiang transitions within the Swire group to her new role as Chair, Chinese Mainland of John Swire & Sons (China) Ltd, HAECO Group is pleased to announce that Ben Scheidel will succeed her as Group Director, Airframe Services, effective September 1, 2024.
In this position, Scheidel will oversee the global Airframe Services activities of the HAECO Group. With his extensive industry experience and a strong track record of driving operational excellence, he is well-equipped to build upon the solid foundation established by Ms. Jiang.

Bill Collins, President of MRO Services at HAECO Americas, will retire at the end of the year. Todd Navin, currently CFO at HAECO Americas, will succeed him as President effective January 2025. Collins has effectively guided the division through the Covid-19 pandemic and into growth, with key airline partners. The HAECO Group thanks Collins for his contributions and is confident in Navin’s ability to lead the business forward.

During his tenure, Mr. Collins has adeptly led the business through the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic and has driven its return to growth, supported by key airline partners. Looking ahead, the Group is confident that Navin will successfully steer the MRO Services business into the future, building on the strong foundation laid by Mr. Collins.
