Silk Way West Airlines and China Henan Aviation Group intend to enhance the frequency of dedicated freight routes between Zhengzhou and Baku through this partnership.

The collaboration leverages the strategic geographical advantages, extensive route networks, and diverse resources of both entities.

Silk Way West Airlines have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with China Henan Aviation Group. This strategic alliance aims to enhance air cargo connectivity and operational efficiency between Zhengzhou and Baku, establishing a resilient dual-hub cooperation framework spanning the Asia-Pacific region and facilitating connectivity with Europe, America, and Africa.

The collaboration capitalizes on both entities’ strategic geographical advantages, expansive route networks, and diverse resources. Silk Way West Airlines and China Henan Aviation Group intend to enhance the frequency of dedicated freight routes between Zhengzhou and Baku through this partnership. This initiative aims to establish Zhengzhou as a pivotal hub in the Asia-Pacific region and designate Baku as a central hub connecting Europe, America, Africa, and other global regions.

Jenny Zhao, Vice president of APAC, Silk Way West Airlines, stated, “We are pleased to partner with China Henan Aviation Group. This collaboration increases our capacity and cargo volume in Zhengzhou and provides convenient and efficient ground support. This is a significant step forward in deepening cooperation between our two countries within the Belt and Road Initiative.”

Silk Way West Airlines is a cargo airline based in Baku, Azerbaijan. It operates a fleet of Boeing 747 freighter aircraft, serving global destinations primarily connecting Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and North America. The airline specializes in air cargo transportation, including charter and scheduled services, utilizing Heydar Aliyev International Airport as its main hub.
