Voyageur Aviation Corp. will upgrade the Department of National Defence’s fleet of De Havilland Canada Dash 8-100 CT-142 by providing services including engineering services, maintenance, parts support, logistics, and aircraft operations. 


Voyageur Aviation Corp. has recently secured a significant contract with the Department of National Defence (DND) to upgrade their fleet of De Havilland Canada Dash 8-100 CT-142 aircraft. This contract underscores Voyageur’s expertise in providing specialized services for special mission aircraft, including engineering services, maintenance, parts support, logistics, and aircraft operations. The DND’s 402 Squadron in Winnipeg utilizes a fleet of four CT-142 aircraft for training Air Combat Systems Officers (ACSO) and Airborne Electronic Sensor (AES OP) Operators. The planned upgrades encompass enhancements to communications, navigation, surveillance, air traffic management avionics, as well as the integration of upgraded radar systems along with training.
