Aequs and Airbus inked a contract for the supply of essential aircraft parts.
Aequs, a manufacturer of aerospace components, and Airbus, one of the biggest aircraft manufacturers in the world, have signed a long-term contract for the supply of critical parts for models such as the A320, A330neo, and A350.
Aravind Melligeri, Chairman & CEO, Aequs, said, “This contract is a significant moment in our journey with Airbus. It is also a testimony to the confidence in Aequs by global OEMs to enter into deeper and longer relationships, particularly at a time when the global supply chain is passing through a recalibration.”
As per the agreement, it will produce detailed parts for the wings, fuselage, and pylons of popular Airbus aircraft models over a ten-year period using bench assembly. On the other hand, details regarding the deal value were kept confidential.
