Air India, is set to significantly expand its aircraft fleet with the recent signing of purchase agreements for 470 new aircraft from Airbus and Boeing, marking a significant milestone for the airline.

Moreover, the introduction of new aircraft could also provide opportunities for Indian aircraft interiors companies.

The comprehensive support for Air India’s fleet expansion comes from Satair, an Airbus company, and Boeing Global Services.

The purchase includes orders for 34 Airbus A350-1000, six A350-900, 20 Boeing 787 Dreamliners, and 10 Boeing 777X widebody aircraft.
