Cambodia Angkor Air signs long-term component support contract with AFI KLM E&M

Cambodia Angkor Air, the national flag carrier of Cambodia signs a long-term contract covering component support for its fleet of A320s with AFI KLM E&M. The fleet presently comprises three aircraft, rising to ten within the coming few years. The contract includes full component support services, repairs and maintenance, pool access, and the provision of a Main Base Kit with local services.

H.E. Tekreth Samrach, Chairman of Cambodia Angkor Air, stated, “We are delighted with these burgeoning partnership relations. AFI KLM E&M was able to convince us with a competitive offering and a service as close as possible to our requirements”.

Fabrice Defrance, senior vice president Commercial AFI KLM E&M, remarked, “We are very proud to enter into a new long-term relationship with Cambodia Angkor Air, contribute to the reliability of its operations and support its development in the fast growing Cambodian market. In winning this fiercely-contested tender, we are proud to prove that a local service is key to a successful partnership”.

Cambodia Angkor Air will have access to AFI KLM E&M significant A320 inventory network in Southeast Asia, a major benefit for its clients operating in the region.
