SITA, a prominent IT provider for the air transport industry, and Envision Digital, a Singapore-based global leader in net-zero solutions and Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) technology, have recently formed a partnership to aid airports in reducing operational costs and achieving their net-zero targets.
Through collaborative efforts, the companies have developed cutting-edge solutions that facilitate real-time data IoT flows, enabling airports to monitor and report their energy consumption, emissions from aircraft and vehicles, and overall carbon footprint. Leveraging insights from these data streams, airports can implement measures to reduce consumption costs and emissions. Additionally, the solutions pave the way for airports to integrate and manage renewable energy sources in the future.
The introduction of these solutions is integral to SITA’s Total Airport Management concept, a comprehensive approach that empowers airports to efficiently oversee all aspects of their operations while prioritizing sustainability in their decision-making processes.
