BOC Aviation Limited, a prominent global aircraft operating leasing company, has announced a finance lease transaction with JetBlue Airways Corporation. The agreement involves two Airbus A321NEO aircraft and five A220-300 aircraft, both powered by Pratt & Whitney GTFTM engines. The deal further strengthens the long-standing relationship between BOC Aviation and JetBlue, a highly respected airline in the United States.

Robert Martin emphasized the company’s strategy of deploying capital into the latest technology aircraft and diversifying financing structures beyond their traditional operating lease product. The finance lease agreement enables JetBlue to access the advanced, fuel-efficient aircraft that align with their commitment to sustainability and operational efficiency.

BOC Aviation is a key player in the global aircraft leasing industry, currently operating a fleet of 635 aircraft, which includes owned, managed, and ordered aircraft. As of March 31, 2023, their fleet was leased to 86 airlines across 39 countries and regions worldwide. The company’s focus on acquiring the latest technology aircraft allows them to provide leasing solutions that cater to the evolving needs of their airline customers.
