This contract renewal marks the continuation of a successful partnership between the two companies that has spanned several years. Iberia, renowned as the largest Spanish airline and a prominent player in the market connecting Latin America and Europe, operates an extensive network of routes from its base at Madrid Barajas airport. In addition to its passenger air transport services, Iberia is actively involved in aircraft maintenance, airport handling services, and cargo operations.

To strengthen its presence in Spain, Farsound recently inaugurated a bespoke facility in the town of San Fernando de Henares, located in the province of Madrid. This state-of-the-art facility was purpose-built to cater not only to Iberia’s fleet but also to other significant airline customers across Europe. The Farsound team at the facility provides a comprehensive range of logistics and supply chain solutions, including kitting, warehouse management, line feed solutions, and aviation parts.
Iberia stands to benefit from the innovative features implemented within Farsound’s facility. Notably, a new bespoke multi-capacity kitting cabinet has been designed and manufactured specifically to optimize operations and enhance customer service within the facility. This cabinet enables efficient transportation of parts throughout the facility, streamlining processes and ensuring improved operational performance. The success of the trolley system at the San Fernando de Henares premises has prompted its rollout to other Farsound global facilities, further enhancing operational efficiency.
