Farsound’s rapid growth and the recent establishment of state-of-the-art headquarters in the UK, along with new facilities in the USA and Spain, have necessitated these strategic changes.
Farsound, a leading provider of supply chain solutions to the aerospace industry, is pleased to announce the restructuring of its Senior Team in preparation for the next phase of global expansion. The company’s rapid growth and recent establishment of state-of-the-art headquarters in the UK, along with new facilities in the USA and Spain, have necessitated these strategic changes.
As part of the restructuring, Kevin Sargent will transition from Executive Chairman to Non-Executive Chairman, while Chris Knott has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Farsound’s global business. Chris, who previously served as Group Finance Director for Farsound for a decade, brings a wealth of relevant experience to his new role.
To further support the company’s growth, Lee Kelsey, Group Sales Director, has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer (COO). In his new role, Lee will oversee sales, quality, and global operations, ensuring utmost customer satisfaction and driving the development of innovative products and services. Additionally, Jonathan Medhurst has been appointed as Chief Procurement Officer, responsible for Farsound’s global inbound supply solutions and the continuous enhancement of supplier relationships.

Farsound will showcase its aviation and MRO supply chain solutions and logistics services at the Paris Airshow from June 19th 2023. Visitors can find the Farsound team at their stand in the UK Pavilion, Hall 2B, Stand no. G156. In the coming months of 2023, Farsound will also welcome a new Chief Financial Officer, further strengthening the Senior Team. Details regarding this appointment will be announced in due course.
