Farsound, a leading supply chain and logistics solutions provider for the global aerospace industry has named Matt Berkebile as its new President of Farsound USA. Berkebile brings over 17 years of engineering and leadership experience to the role, having worked in gas turbine, aviation, and power generation engineering in the USA. He has experience in design, manufacture, repair, process development, and commercial projects.
In his new role, Berkebile will oversee Farsound’s operations and growth in North America, with a focus on developing the company’s reputation and market reach in the aviation MRO sector. Farsound has facilities in the UK, Canada, Spain, Japan, and Singapore, and Berkebile will work closely with the leadership teams there to ensure a global insight and approach. Berkebile will be based at Farsound’s new US facility in San Antonio, Texas from this summer, where he will lead a team of people towards ongoing development and international success.
