Justin Yeung in his new role at Metrojet Limited is responsible for Client Relations and continuing Airworthiness, meanwhile, Stewart Borg is a Check and Training Captain.

Metrojet Limited, a Hong Kong-based provider of business aviation services to users in the Asia Pacific region has announced the appointments of Justin Yeung as the company’s new Director of Aircraft Management and Charter (DAMC) and Captain Stewart Borg as the new Director, Flight Operations (DFO). Justin and Stewart report directly to Captain Denzil White, the Managing Director of Aircraft Management and Charter at Metrojet. The two new appointments came into effect on 1 October 2022.

“Our Client Relations and CAMO teams have consistently delivered great value to our clients even through this extremely challenging period for the industry. In my new role, I hope to support them to further develop our core business of providing class-leading aircraft management services to our clients,” said Justin Yeung, Director of Aircraft Management and Charter, Metrojet.

Justin Yeung in his new role at Metrojet Limited will be responsible for Client Relations, Continuing Airworthiness and Management Organization (CAMO), Business Development and Joint Venture projects within the Aircraft Management and Charter line of business. Captain Stewart Borg as the company’s new DFO will oversee all aspects of the AMC’s Flight Operations Department, including flight crew management, Integrated Operations Centre, flight training and flight operation support.

I believe my extensive experience in operating large-cabin Gulfstream aircraft for over 22 years will add value to the Metrojet fleet and bring practical insights to the aircraft operations and management services,” said Captain Stewart Borg, Director of Flight Operations, Metrojet.

Justin Yeung joined Metrojet in 2018 and was most recently the company’s Head of Commercials. His achievements since joining the company include the successful negotiations with the Clark International Airport Corporation for a long-term land lease for the new Metrojet Engineering (Clark) facility in the Philippines, and the acquisition of Chinese Air Operating Certificate (AOC) operator, Funian Aviation, through Metrojet’s joint venture with the Haite Group. Justin started his career with Rolls-Royce plc in the UK, where he held a number of progressive commercial and supply chain roles.

Captain Stewart Borg has extensive experience in Operations, Checking and Training in the aviation industry. Stewart has been working with Metrojet for over 17 years since 2005. Stewart previously served at Metrojet as the Lead Captain, Deputy Chief Pilot and Manager for Flight Training. Stewart is a Check and Training Captain for Metrojet as well as an Authorised Examiner for the Gulfstream G450, G550 and G650ER for the Civil Aviation Department of Hong Kong (HKCAD).
