Werner Aero Services buys 737 for disassembly

Werner Aero Services has confirmed the acquisition of a 737 aircraft powered by CFM56-7B engines for disassembly.
The nine-year old aircraft was last operated by Japanese carrier All Nippon Airways and Werner said once disassembly is complete the 737’s components will be made available to customers.

The CFM56-7B engines are available for immediate sale or lease.

Mike Cazaz, CEO of Werner Aero Services, said the transaction will help strengthen the firm’s position in the 737 market. “We have made serious investments in this product line and are making sure that the engines and components are certified, and ready for immediate shipment from our distribution centres,” he said.
